The veterinarians at Paws of the Rockies Animal Hospital believe that the basis for quality medicine begins with complete and thorough physical examinations of their patients. Whether your pet is being seen for vaccinations or a surgical procedure or whether your pet is experiencing medical problems, they will receive a thorough physical examination from our doctors. This physical examination will evaluate multiple organ systems including the eyes, ears, oral cavity, skin, abdominal organs, heart and lung systems, orthopedic and urogenital systems and the neurologic system.
Your pet’s body weight and body condition will also be evaluated by our doctors. Nutritional recommendations may be made by our doctors to help your pet achieve ideal body condition. Examinations also give you an opportunity to present any questions you may have about your pet and their health. Annual examinations are recommended for every patient and semi-annual examinations are recommended for senior patients and patients with chronic illness.
